About Our Trainers:
Our class will be lead by Jens Ostergaard. Jens has successfully certified more than 8000 people in OVER 28 countries and is the founder of the Scrum Training Institute. He is the First Certified Scrum Practitioner (CSP) and one of the pioneering Certified Scrum Trainers (CST) worldwide. Additionally, he is an Agile Developer Consultant who helps organizations understand the fundamentals of Scrum and argue that organizations should keep Scrum as pure as possible until they fully understand the mechanism that drives development. Jens has delivered CSM classes longer than anybody, worldwide.
Your co-host, Sherman Gomberg, has over 25 years of experience with scrum, agile and project management while providing coaching and consulting services for various industries. Furthermore, Sherman is the founder and CEO of Scrum Adventures and the vision behind the Agile Transformation solution of Coaching Assessment and Transformation®.

Description
This course is for everyone who is currently working, cooperating with Scrum team or planning to implement Scrum in their organization.
It’s an awesome opportunity for Product Owners to strengthen their experience, Product Managers to get new ideas or people involved in the Scrum implementation at your organization to enhance their know how about Scrum and Agile Product management.
We look at Scrum from the Product Owner point of view, covering several concept on how to create a product and build the Product Backlog. We cover not only Scrum, but Agile Product Ownership as well.
Prerequisite
It is beneficial to have some knowledge about Scrum and it is expected for you to have read the “Scrum Guide” on www.scrumguides.org prior to class.

Certification
On successful completion of the two-day online course, you’ll receive
- Product Owner Certification
- Payment of your first two year dues for the Scrum Alliance
- 16 PDUs from PMI (Project Management Institute). This class also satisfies 16 of the 21 training hours for the PMI/ACP certification
After successfully completing the course, you will need to accept the License Agreement and complete your Scrum Alliance® profile (Note that there is currently not a test for the CSPO certification)
Virtual Class Information
Our class will be held using Zoom.
You’ll receive an email prior to class with the Zoom link for the class, resources, a few things we’ll need before the class, and login information for our cool tools.
Please be prepared to have you camera on during all of the training (don’t be shy, you’ll look great!). 🙂
Credits Earned
This course earns 16 Scrum Education Units (SEU®) with Scrum Alliance®. SEUs can be used for earning and renewing your CSP®, CEC, and or CST®.
