Training from the BACK of the Room (TBR-VE®) – Virtual
This course is about becoming the kind of trainer people remember.

This work is designed with respect for how people learn, how attention moves, and how engagement naturally unfolds.

There’s a moment many trainers reach.

You know your material. You care deeply about your learners. And still… something feels just out of reach.

You can feel it when the room goes quiet in the wrong way. Or when engagement feels polite… but not alive.

Not because something is wrong with you. But because no one ever showed you how learning actually works.

This is where TBR-VE® begins.

What This Work Really Is

Training from the Back of the Room – Virtual Edition® is more than a method. It’s a shift in how you understand learning itself.

Instead of pushing content forward, you begin to design experiences that the brain can actually receive.

You start to see:

  • Why attention fades (and how to bring it back)
  • How memory is formed (and how to support it)
  • What creates real engagement (not just activity)

And something changes.
Not just in your training.
But in how you see the people in front of you.

A Different Kind of Learning Space

This is not a sit-and-listen training.

You’ll experience the work as a learner, which means you’ll feel what works in your own nervous system.

You’ll experience this through the TBR-VE® 4Cs model:

  • Connections – linking learning and learners
  • Concepts – making the complex simple and usable
  • Concrete Practice – trying it in real time
  • Conclusions – integrating what’s been learned to carry it forward

You won’t just understand the model. You’ll know how to use it.

What You Leave With

By the end of this experience, you won’t just have ideas.

You’ll have:

  • Practical tools you can immediately apply
  • A clear structure for designing engaging sessions
  • A deeper understanding of how learning actually works
  • Increased confidence in holding a virtual room
  • A new relationship with how you show up as a trainer

And often, something quieter…

A sense of ease that wasn’t there before.

Who This Is For

This space is for you if you find yourself here:

  • You’re already training, facilitating, or teaching
  • You care deeply about the people you serve
  • You sense there’s more available than what you’ve been shown
  • You want your sessions to land, not just be delivered

This is not about becoming someone else. It’s about refining what is already there.

The Experience

This is a live, interactive virtual training. You’ll be participating, not observing. You’ll be experimenting, not just learning concepts.

And you’ll be in a space with others who are also committed to doing this work well.

There’s something powerful about that.

A Thoughtfully Designed Experience

There’s also something you may not expect. Alongside the live training, you’ll receive a curated set of physical materials and tools designed to support hands-on learning, practice, and real-world application. Each element is designed to support how you interact with the material—not just during the session, but as you begin to apply it. These include tactile tools, visual aids, and practical resources designed to support how you learn and how you teach. They are part of how the learning stays with you.
